Step away from the pace of everyday life and enter a day of gentle rhythm, reflection, and reconnection. Nourish in Nature is a thoughtfully curated day retreat designed to help you slow down, listen deeply, and rediscover your connection to the natural world—and to yourself.
Held at Farmstead on the River, on Saturday, March 21 from 9-3:30p.m., this retreat invites you to commune with the elements through embodied movement, guided meditation, quiet creativity, and unhurried time outdoors. Whether you are seeking rest, renewal, or a deeper sense of grounding, this day offers space to breathe, notice, and be fully present.
What to Expect
Guided by yoga therapist Carolyn Purvis, the day unfolds with intention and spaciousness. You’ll experience:
- Two yoga sessions—one energizing and one deeply restorative
- A guided meditation and breathwork practice
- Self-guided elemental experiences using practices such as mantra meditation (silent chanting), journaling, and hands-on creative expression
- Time to reflect, wander, and engage with nature at your own pace
- A welcoming, inclusive environment where all activities are accessible and adaptable
This retreat is designed for all levels and bodies. Modifications will be offered, and participants are encouraged to share any specific needs in advance.
