With the busyness of the Christmas season and Epiphany behind us, I would like us to slow
down and contemplate what just happened- the manifestation of Jesus’ divinity breaking through into the world giving light! Reflecting on this light we will create with mix media as we consider Jesus’ birth, the star that illuminated his arrival and his life being the light for all humanity. What image does the breaking through of this light present to you? What colors do you see?
We invite you to participate in an enriching day at Farmstead, where you will have the
opportunity to engage in creative activities and thoughtful reflection on the theme “A Light
Breaks Through”.
No prior art experience needed!
